Personal Webtoon (2019~Present)
"The Boy Who Waves at Dragons" is my own personal webtoon I started working on after taking a comic making class in early 2019. It's about a dragon and a boy going on adventures together to deliver repaired items back to their owners.
PROCESS:
In a sketchbook, ideas and thumbs are drawn down. Lots of edits to the story are made here.
In Storyboard Pro, I sketch roughs of the panels. A goal of this comic was to not only help my drawing abilities, but to help my sense of boarding as well.
The roughs are transferred to Clip Studio Paint. They're cropped, inked, and colored before I put the speech bubbles in.
